My girlfriend and I had three private cooking classes with Chris where we learned a tremendous amount, including, but not limited to, how to take apart a chicken, how to make and utilize mirepoix (your base for most dishes), how to confidently improvise in the kitchen and how to properly cut an onion (THIS WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE). Another great tip: Do not serve anything you haven’t tasted yourself!

To say that Chris loves cooking would be a HUGE understatement. His passion and excitement made our classes with him such a great experience. Chris is funny, patient, easygoing and really knows his stuff, which is why I highly recommend him. And the mussels, prosciutto-wrapped asparagus, poached salmon, and baked chicken Chris helped us with were some of the best dishes we’ve ever eaten. Graeme
