Everything was very delightful. You’re truly a great chef & all the food was wonderful. Cheese cake & shrimp were amazing! Thanks for the great tips on the food left. We all really enjoyed it.

In my past life with a consulting company, I met many executives we served and built a relationship with in the major banks who knew of my venture into the food industry.  One of these executives purchased a “Dinner for 8” package from me and donated it as a silent auction item for the Habitat “fore” Humanity Charity Golf Tournament in July.  On the weekend the winning bidder held the dinner at his house.

The host is the owner of Beecher Real Estate – Phil and his lovely wife Tricia.   They are personally involved with Habitat for Humanity so it was only natural they had the “Dinner for 8” package.  By donating time and money (a portion of his fees are donated to this cause), they have helped provide homes for many people in need.  Studies showed that young people who have lived in these homes fare better in school, integrate better into society and contribute more to their communities – win, win, win.  Working in financial services all my life, I’ve met a lot of real estate agents and came to the conclusion that the character of the agent determined the quality of the experience.  I have no doubt that the quality of the experience in dealing with Phil and his team would be at the top end of the scale.  Phil is also a member of the AM640AM Real Estate Talk show and Real Pro Canada.

The gourmet 4 course meal started with Deboned Quail on Arugula, followed with a palette cleanser – Mango Sorbet with Blueberry/Pomegranate Caviar, and the main Roasted Butternut Squash Puree and Celeriac Mash, Herb Crusted Beef Tenderloin, Spicy Jamaican Shrimp and Wild Mushroom Risotto.  The entire meal was capped off with the signature Food Inspires Crème Brulee Cheesecake.

It’s experiences like these that allow me to love what I do – create wonderful meals for really good people.
