… Boy did we play!  Just kidding, Master Chef Josh started his vacation on Thursday last week.  He asked me to fill in for him with his Beginner and Advanced class.  I always enjoy doing these classes as it keeps me challenged and reminds me that I need to stay up-to-date on current trends and techniques in tastes, plating etc.  The classes are more intense than the usual Adult Recreation Classes I typically do.  That’s because the full time classes are working towards certification, so there must be greater structure and a larger teaching (and practical) component to it. 

None the less, it was great being back in the kitchen with budding Chef’s.  I admire their creativity and eagerness to learn.  Much like when my (then) 8 year old fearlessly showed me how to do download games on my laptop, these young soon to be graduates, have no fear in preparing delicate sauces or creamy soups.
