Mad Hatter Bridal Shower
In my experience, there are two things that a guest will remember from an affair. The first is the reason for the party, and in this case it was my daughter’s bridal shower. It was lovely having friends and families gather in celebration. I think most of the guests got into the concept of the Mad Hatter Theme as the hats were fun and fanciful.
The second thing that guests remember is the food. Chris, I have to say you are very brave to cater for 50 women. When developing the menu you were fabulous with ideas and in the selection of taste profiles. You were really adept with all the dietary constraints that my guests had, and produced edibles that were gluten, lactose and nut free with wonderful flavors and rich tastes. The Mad Hatter Cake was a real show stopper on the table, and you really catered to the bride on that one. She was over the moon giddy when she saw it.
There is something else to be said about the food and it isn’t in the tasting of it. It was the exceptional presentation. Being a Tea Party you tiered both the sandwiches and the desserts. The table was over 12 feet long and you just covered it with a visual smorgasbord of mouth watering temptations. …and you did it twice because you served the savories first and the sweet table hours later. You and your staff were quietly watching everything allowing me and the other hostesses to enjoy our day. The event was amazing, just amazing.
